They are probably the biggest of these 3. It grows approximately 25mm in length. These critters move more slowly than the other species & are a dark brown to black with a shiny body. They are often known as the “waterbug” considering that these creatures prefer dark, damp hiding places. They are most likely found in damp mulch or cellars. The duration of incubation could be about 2 months with an average of 15 eggs hatching and; they can each live for up to two years.
